The Navibus drives along Madrid's illuminated streets on a panoramic double-decker bus with a Santa's helper on board. It runs from around 23 November 2026 to 7 January 2027 (does not operate on 24 and 31 Dec or 5 Jan), with departures every 15 minutes from 6:00 pm to 10:15 pm. Duration: around 50 minutes.
Madrid's lights from the bus
The Navibus is the most comfortable way to see Madrid's Christmas lights: you hop on a panoramic double-decker bus and ride along the main illuminated streets of the centre without having to walk or battle the crowds on the pavement. On board, a Santa's helper livens up the ride, which makes it a very family-friendly plan.
It is the ideal alternative to the Christmas lights walking tour when you are travelling with small children or older relatives, or you simply prefer to take in the show from above and out of the cold. From the top deck, the views of the lit-up façades and the big trees of the centre are unbeatable.
