What is Tickets Visit
Tickets Visit is a personal project born from a simple belief: most travel websites tell you what to buy, but don't help you decide. I wanted to create something different — a site where a traveller could find clear comparisons and the practical information that actually matters before booking a ticket or a tour.
The test for each page is simple: would this help someone travelling tomorrow?
Who's behind it
My name is Daniel Maroto Pérez and I'm the founder and sole creator of Tickets Visit and palaciorealdemadrid.com. I build and run these sites myself — every line of code, every design choice and every strategic decision goes through my hands.
I'm not part of an agency or a media group, and I'm responsible for everything published here. I also run other sites of my own about specific places: entradasreinasofia.es, palaciorealdearanjuez.es, entradascoliseoroma.com, entradasmuseothyssen.com, entradasbernabeu.com, entradasestudiosharrypotter.com, entradasmuseodelprado.com, entradascapillasixtina.com and planner.tickets-visit.com. They share an owner and an affiliate model, and there are no intrusive banners or aggressive pop-ups.
Why this project exists
I started with palaciorealdemadrid.com because I was frustrated by the lack of quality information about the Royal Palace in Spanish. I first visited that palace as a child and I've been back dozens of times since. When I created the website, I discovered that many people were searching for the same thing for other European destinations: clear, practical information.
Tickets Visit was the natural next step. A trilingual site (Spanish, English, French) starting with Madrid, the city I know best, and linking to Civitatis for bookings.
How I work
Three principles I don't negotiate:
- I say how it's made. I use artificial intelligence tools to research and prepare texts, and I decide what gets published. Where I haven't visited a place, the page is a documentary analysis based on sources such as official websites and Civitatis listings, not first-hand experience.
- The affiliate programme doesn't decide the information. I work with Civitatis as an independent affiliate. Where booking directly on a monument's or event's website is cheaper or simpler, I try to say so on the page.
- Transparency. When you book through my links, I receive a commission at no extra cost to you. That's what makes this project possible.
