About the project

Travel with criteria. Technology with soul.

What is Tickets Visit

Tickets Visit is a personal project born from a simple belief: most travel websites tell you what to buy, but don't help you decide. I wanted to create something different — a site where a real traveller could find honest analysis, unfiltered comparisons, and the practical information that actually matters before booking a ticket or a tour.

Every page you see here is written with one clear criterion: would this help someone travelling tomorrow? If the answer is no, it doesn't get published.

Who's behind it

My name is dani and I'm the sole creator of Tickets Visit and palaciorealdemadrid.com. I'm a web developer, designer and SEO specialist — which means every line of code, every design choice and every strategic decision in these projects goes through my hands.

I'm an entrepreneur. I'm not part of an agency or a media group. This is an independent project built from scratch with passion, effort and many hours of work. And it shows in the details: no intrusive banners, no aggressive pop-ups, no mass-produced content. Every article has a name behind it.

Why this project exists

I started with palaciorealdemadrid.com because I was frustrated by the lack of quality information about the Royal Palace in Spanish. I first visited that palace as a child and I've been back dozens of times since. When I created the website, I discovered that many people were searching for the same thing for other European destinations: real data, honest opinions, without the usual noise of travel marketing.

Tickets Visit was the natural next step. A trilingual site (Spanish, English, French) covering destinations I know first-hand and working with Civitatis as a trusted partner for bookings.

How I work

Three principles I don't negotiate:

  1. I only write about what I know. If I haven't visited the place or thoroughly researched the options, I don't publish. I'd rather cover 15 destinations well than cover 200 poorly.
  2. The affiliate doesn't dictate. I work with Civitatis as an independent affiliate, but there are activities I do NOT recommend and I say so openly. If I lose the reader's trust, I lose everything.
  3. Full transparency. When you book through my links, I receive a commission at no extra cost to you. That's what makes this project possible.

The technical side

Tickets Visit is built as optimised static HTML — no WordPress, no heavy frameworks, no unnecessary dependencies. Every page loads in under 2 seconds. SEO is hand-crafted: complete Schema JSON-LD, trilingual hreflang, updated sitemap, and green Core Web Vitals.

If you're interested in web development, design or technical SEO applied to real projects, this is a good example of what you can build with criteria and without an agency budget.

If you're missing a destination, let me know. When several people request the same place, it moves up the priority queue.
