Disneyland® Paris at Christmas: Dates, Parade & Tickets (2026-2027)

Updated: June 2026 · by dani

Disney Enchanted Christmas at Disneyland Paris turns the park into a winter fairytale: a giant tree, Mickey's parade, artificial snow and a festive market.

Disney Enchanted Christmas, explained

Every winter, Disneyland Paris transforms to celebrate Disney Enchanted Christmas. Main Street is dressed with garlands, lights and a monumental tree, the characters wear their festive gala costumes and a season-specific parade winds down the main avenue. It is arguably the best time to visit the park if you are after atmosphere; it is also the busiest, so it pays to plan well.

The decorations and Christmas shows are included in the standard park ticket: you do not need a special ticket, just a date within the season. If you want to combine it, this page complements our guide to Disneyland Paris tickets, where we explain prices, 1- or 2-park options and how to buy.

Disneyland Paris Christmas dates 2026-2027

Based on the 2025 calendar, the estimated dates for the 2026-2027 season would run from 8 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. These are indicative: Disney usually confirms the official calendar a few months ahead, so we recommend verifying the exact dates as your trip approaches, especially if you book well in advance.

  • Approx. start: early November 2026.
  • Approx. end: the first days of January 2027 (around Epiphany).
  • Best atmosphere: at dusk, when the lights come on and the artificial snow falls.

What to see during Christmas at Disneyland Paris

  • The giant Main Street tree: around 24 metres tall, presiding over the park entrance. Its lighting at dusk is one of the most photographed moments.
  • Mickey's Christmas parade: a season-specific procession with floats and characters dressed for the occasion.
  • Artificial snow: at nightfall it "snows" over Main Street, creating a postcard scene.
  • Les Chalets Gourmands market: chalets serving festive food inside the resort.
  • Character meet-and-greets: Mickey, Minnie and friends debut their festive gala outfits.

Tips for enjoying Christmas at Disneyland Paris

  • Best timing: arrive at opening for the rides (shorter queues) and save the late afternoon and evening for the lit-up decorations, the artificial snow and the parade.
  • With kids: plan breaks and wrap up warm; in December it gets dark early and cold. Bring gloves, a hat and something hot to drink.
  • Avoid the peaks: the December long weekends, Christmas Day and New Year are the busiest. If you can, choose early November or a weekday.
  • Pair it with Paris: spend one day at Disneyland and another on the city's lights. We have a guide to the Paris Christmas tour to round off the trip.
  • Book a dated ticket: it is the busiest season; secure your ticket online in advance.

How to get to Disneyland Paris

The easiest way from central Paris is the RER A, getting off at Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station, right in front of the park entrance (about a 45-minute ride). Check the platform board, as the RER A has several branches and not all reach the park. By car, take the A4 motorway (exit 14); at Christmas the car park fills up early, so leave plenty of time.
